KIE reconstructs images based on local areas and details through machine learning and uses the super-resolution (SR) technology to enhance image quality. KIE applies to low-resolution images downloaded from the Internet, images with compression-induced quality degradation, screenshot images, out-of-focus photos, and old photos.
